They Never Said “I Love You” in Life—But Spirit Made Up for It
Some of the most powerful readings I’ve ever had were with spirits who couldn’t say “I love you” when they were alive. Whether it was due to pride, fear, or simply not knowing how, those unsaid words often linger in the hearts of those left behind. But Spirit has a beautiful way of mending what was left undone.
When people cross over, they gain tremendous clarity—no more ego, defensiveness, and human confusion. From that higher perspective, they finally see the impact of their words and actions. And in that realization, they often rush forward to make things right. The invitation is for you to be open to hearing from them and accept any apologies that they may make to you so healing can continue.
One man’s father came through during a session recently—a stoic, hard-working type who “wasn’t one for emotions.” His daughter, Lucy, had grown up feeling invisible. When his presence appeared, I was flooded with sensations of deep regret and love trying to pour through all at once. I said to her, “He’s placing his hand over his heart and saying, ‘If I could live it again, I’d say it every day.’” She broke down sobbing. “He never told me he loved me. Not once.”
In that moment, his soul’s message carried what his human words never could. She said afterward, “For the first time, I felt him as my dad—not just the man who raised me.”
Spirit doesn’t come back to rehash the pain—they come back to heal it. When they acknowledge their mistakes, express love, or apologize, they’re not just doing it for themselves. They’re helping you release the burden of wondering why you weren’t enough.
My mother and myself did not have a good relationship while she was in physical form. She has come through in readings over the years. At first I wasn't open to hearing from her and shut down inside. Years later I became curious about what she had to say to me. That's when the realing healing and forgiveness began. I realize now it could have started much sooner had I have been open to what she had to say. It's never too late though.
The language of the afterlife is love, plain and simple. It transcends the years of silence, the misunderstandings, and the unspoken goodbyes. It shows that love is eternal—and it’s never too late to say what needed to be said.
If you’re carrying a wound from something left unspoken, I invite you to experience what healing messages from Spirit can bring. You can schedule a session at aperfectsoul.com
